- MERV 8 filters capture 70% of particles 3.0 to 10.0 microns in size
- MERV 11 filters capture 85% of particles 3.0 to 10.0 microns in size and 65-80% of particles 1.0 to 3.0 microns in size
- MERV 15 filters exceed the minimum requirements set forth by LEED® and capture 85-95% of particles 0.3 to 1.0 micron in size and up to 90% of particles 1.0 to 10.0 microns in size
